Wrapping paper lasts a morning. A tale in the mailbox comes back every month, with the recipient's name on it.
Give a Founding Year
Through November 30 only: twelve tales, January through December 2027, paid once. It never renews, so there's nothing to cancel or remember.
How to give it
- Choose an edition. Open the Chapbook or Library edition and click Add to cart. Don't use the Buy with Shop button, which skips the cart and its gift box.
- In your cart, check “This is a gift.” Then type the gift recipient's name in the box that appears.
- At checkout, enter the gift recipient's mailing address as the shipping address. Every tale will be mailed there. When you pay, make sure the billing address is your own.
- Watch for our email. Within one business day, we'll email you a printable certificate. It comes to you, not to the gift recipient, so the surprise stays yours. Print it, write in the names, and tuck it in a card.
- The first tale is mailed in the first week of January, addressed to the gift recipient.
Good to know
- Giving to more than one person? Place a separate order for each one, since every order is mailed to a single address.
- We mail to US addresses only.
- Forgot to check the box? Email support@talesfromafardistantland.com with your order number, and we'll send your certificate.
Far from your loved ones?
Every month for a year, a tale arrives that's a little bit of magic from you.
